Job Overview:
FLEX Performance llc is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Outreach Athletic Trainer(s) to join our team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will provide athletic training services for various athletic events as needed. This is a great opportunity for a passionate individual who is dedicated to helping athletes perform at their best.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site athletic training services at various athletic events
- Assess injuries and provide immediate care
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs
- Communicate with coaches, athletes, and parents regarding injury management and rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Certified Athletic Trainer - United States Marine Corps - SMIP ATC
Position: Certified Athletic Trainer
Program: Marine Corps Sports Medicine Injury Prevention (SMIP)
Location: Bridgeport, California
Setting: Military / Tactical Human Performance
Housing: On-base housing available
Position Overview
The Certified Athletic Trainer will support active duty U.S. Marines within the Sports Medicine Injury Prevention (SMIP) program. This role focuses on musculoskeletal injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and performance optimization in a tactical environment.
This is a full-time position embedded with a Marine unit at a remote Sierra Nevada duty station.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site musculoskeletal injury evaluation and assessment
Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs
Deliver injury prevention and movement optimization strategies
Conduct performance-based screenings and corrective exercise programming
Collaborate with strength and conditioning staff, medical providers, and command leadership
Document care in accordance with military medical documentation standards
Support field training operations as required
Minimum Qualifications
BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
Current state licensure (or ability to obtain California licensure)
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience post-certification (per SMIP requirements)
CPR/AED/BLS certification
Strong orthopedic assessment and rehabilitation skill set
Ability to work independently in a structured military environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in tactical, military, industrial, or high-performance settings
Familiarity with return-to-duty protocols
