We operate on a cash-pay basis — no insurance required or accepted. This allows us to focus entirely on what’s best for your recovery, without restrictions or billing delays.

  • Luke Fender Athetic Trainer

    Luke Fender, MS ATC

    MEET THE OWNER

    Luke Fender grew up aspiring to be a professional soccer player. When he began his collegiate career his high school Athletic Trainer and college ATs inspired him to pursue a different career path in sports medicine.  In 2015 he graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. He continued to follow his passion in soccer interning at Sacramento State with Men’s Soccer. From there he spent time at Kaiser Sports Medicine Center Sacramento working with a wide range of patients and furthering his rehab skills. In 2018 after Obtaining a Masters Degree in Advanced Athletic Training with an emphasis in pediatric sports medicine he was able to implement his Masters Capstone Project - clinic based concussion exertion testing. With the collaboration of the physicians, physical therapists, and neuropsychologist they were able to offer a unique treatment of concussions to the Sacramento Community.

    FLEX Performance was created in 2022 after he spent time in Japan implementing a performance program with F-16 fighter pilots in the United States Air Force to address high-g related issues related to flying. The mission was to bring high-quality sports medicine care to youth athletes across the Northern California region. Luke is passionate about promoting the profession of Athletic Training and delivering high quality injury care to the patients he serves.
